Data Requests

Effective date: July 24, 2026

This page explains how to make requests about your data — access, portability, correction and deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over your personal data, and this page describes how to exercise them with plan7.

What data exists

The data associated with your use of plan7 is:

  • Your account — your email (and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture) and your language preference.
  • Your answers and routines — the questionnaire answers and the plans generated from them, stored in our database and linked to your account.
  • Access and payment status — your entitlement details (such as active access and remaining recalibrations) and your payment provider's customer identifier if you have purchased access.
  • A short-lived record of the IP address of generation requests, kept briefly on our server to apply rate limiting and then expiring automatically.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to the following:

  • Access — see what data exists. Your answers and routines are visible to you when you sign in to the app.
  • Portability / export — obtain a copy of your data in a usable form.
  • Correction — fix inaccurate answers, which you can do by editing them in the app.
  • Deletion — delete individual routines from the app, or delete your account to remove your associated data.

What you can do yourself

Signed in to the app, you can view your data, edit your answers, and delete routines you no longer want. The app also has a "clear data" action that removes the local copy kept in your browser. Deleting a routine or your account removes the corresponding data from our database.

How to make a request

For requests you cannot complete yourself — for example, a full export or deletion of everything we hold about you — contact us through the contact page on this site using the email address on your account, so we can identify you and locate your data.

Response time

We aim to respond to requests within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may contact your local data-protection authority to raise a complaint.
