How Plan7 works

Plan7 is an iPhone app. You answer questions about your goal, your fixed hours and your sleep; it builds seven days from those answers, then runs each one: the block you're in, the apps it pauses, the alarm that gets you up.

  1. 1

Sign in and pick one goal for 30 days

Sign in with Apple or Google before the first question, so nothing you answer is lost. Then name the goal: body, work, a project, study, money or something creative. If it's vague, Plan7 helps you turn it into a measurable target.

    Days and hours
You choose which days you can give the goal and how many hours each.
  2. 2

    Tell it what can't move

Work, classes and the commute stay fixed. Gym, family and other projects are protected, so the goal never takes their time. Then your sleep on a dial, your morning steps and when you're at your best.

    From Calendar
Optional. Plan7 reads four weeks and proposes the events that repeat. It never writes to your calendar.
    Apps to block
You pick them in Apple's Screen Time list. You can skip it and do it later.
    Wake-up mission
Chosen here, switched on once you subscribe. Needs iOS 26.
  3. 3

It counts your 168 hours first

Before building anything, Plan7 subtracts sleep, fixed hours and what you protect from the 168 in a week, and shows what's left. If the goal needs more than that, it tells you by how many hours, so you can change the goal instead of failing it.

  4. 4

Subscribe, and it builds your week

Plan7 is a subscription, monthly or annual, with no free plan. If your Apple ID qualifies for a free trial, the length is shown before you pay. The week takes up to five minutes to build; you can leave and get a notification when it's ready.

    Why it's here
Every block in the week can tell you why it landed where it did.
  5. 5

    Then it runs each day

Today shows the block you're in with a live countdown and what comes next. Apps you chose are paused during focus blocks and at bedtime. When the day changes, tell Plan7 in a message and it moves what can move.

    Every week
Tune my week reads your last seven days and how they felt, and rebuilds the next one.

Before you download

Is there an Android or web version?

No. Plan7 is iPhone only, from iOS 16.4. Wake-up missions and alarms between tasks need iOS 26; the Done and +15 min buttons on the Lock Screen need iOS 17.

Is there a free plan?

No. You answer the questions and see your week counted for free; building and running the week needs a monthly or annual subscription. Apple shows any free trial you qualify for before you pay.

Can Plan7 see which apps I block?

No. The list stays in Screen Time on your iPhone. Plan7 only knows how many apps you chose.

What if my week changes?

For today, tell Plan7 in Edit day. For the coming week, run Tune my week. If your life changed more than that, Rebuild my plan starts from new answers.

Everything the app does, from focus blocking to Lights Out, is on the features page.

Answer on your iPhone. The week is ready within five minutes.

Sign in with Apple or Google; the first question is your goal for the next 30 days.
